Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge the ancestral stewards of the land WildRoots Play utilizes for our programs. These include the people of the Pequot, Mohegan, and Eastern Nehantick tribal nations.

We acknowledge and honor their traditional values around living in reciprocity with the natural world.  We strive to model our work on these principles of stewardship and sustainability.
